Our Hebrew High program is designed to meet the evolving social-intellectual needs of emerging Jewish adults. Every class begins with a question, fundamentally, “What does this mean to me?” The program is held on Sunday evenings and is preceded by an optional dinner. Our 8th/9th grade curriculum allows our students to use the daily liturgy, mitzvot, holidays and theology as a way of exploring topics relevant to their lives. The program for our 10th graders includes Jewish Civis and Tikkun Olam. Elective course offerings have included Israel studies, comparative Judaism, interfaith studies, text study, current events and . The 10th grade year culminates in an end-of-the-year confirmation ceremony. Each semester includes a trip to learn about Jewish topics in Baltimore, Washington, and beyond.
